I found this great inverter at a decent price perfect for small battery storage systems.

This one is made by Cobra Electronics a name that has been around for years. (remember CB radio?)
It features 1500 Watts of Continuous Power, 3000 Watts Peak Power. That's plenty of power to do something with! It's not one of those puny 150 watt jobs that bogs down when you try to run two light bulbs!
It will run great on a 12 volt solar battery system.

Panels

This is a really cool find. It's a complete kit of four 15 Watt solar panels and mounting frames, a 200-Watt power inverter, a 7-Amp solar panel charge controller, and a wiring kit with accessories.

This product has been selling at around $500 and more at RV places for awhile but NOW because of the time of year and low demand you can pick the whole thing up for less than $300 and thats a good price for this complete 60 watt solar power system.

By the way RV and marine shops are a good place to find solar panel stuff.

Wind Power

I haven't really talked much about wind power and I need to do so because combining wind and sun is really the way to go if you can. Some places will not allow you to have a wind generator and even make it hard for you to put up a solar panel array but if you can this is the ultimate energy saving system.
